Born in Buffalo, New York in 1934, he moved with his parents to make California his permanent residence. He attended Santa Monica High School, Santa Monica City College, and Los Angeles City College. In 1953 he entered the United States Marine Corp, and served for four years during the Korean conflict. After leaving the military, he became a Deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs' Dept. for eight years. He then spent many years in the private insurance industry, before he became employed by the State of California. He retired from the State as a Senior Criminal Investigator in 1998. He was a member of the Marine Corp League and proudly served as Vice Commander and Commander of the Wildomar VFW Post 1508.
His loyal love and quick wit will be greatly missed by his wife Sandra, of 59 years. He will be cremated and private service will be observed at a date yet to be determined when he will then be inurned in the Marine Memorial at Pacific View Mortuary in Corona del Mar, CA.
