Ellen D. Heinze

Ellen Heinze passed away peacefully at Brookdale Skilled Nursing Facility on January 14, 2015. She was born July 6, 1931 in Chicago, Ill., daughter of Joyce and Blanche Meredith. She was a retired co-owner and CFO of A.G. Heinze Inc., a position she held for 36 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Greg Heinze; two sons by a previous marriage, Jeffrey and Brian Everett; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; brother, Jack Meredith; a niece and two nephews; four grand-nephews and one grand-niece. Ellen's passion was helping people. She was an animal lover, especially dogs. She volunteered at three animal shelters, with over ten years of service in Mission Viejo, Calif., and the Coachella Valley. After her knee gave out she became a volunteer at Eisenhower Medical Center, Rancho Mirage, Calif. working at the main campus and finally the newly built (2010) Argyros Medical Center in La Quinta, Calif.
