He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the California State University, Long Beach.
He passed away with his family by his side on February 1, 2026. He was 88 years old.
He was a retired Long Beach Police Commander, with an esteemed career spanning over twenty six years.
He was presented with a Meritorious Service Award by the City Manager of Long Beach for his outstanding detective work.
He was an army veteran & custom jewelry store owner. His jewelry store was located in the Dana Point harbor, which he loved.
He is most fondly remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He is greatly loved and missed by his family. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Melissa Heath-Rondilla and his grandchildren Cody Heath & Kylee Heath-Rondilla.
