He was born in Pennsylvania, April 3, 1936. Making his way out to California he became a Aeronautical Engineer “Rocket Scientist” for NASSA. There he worked for 32 years before retiring in Orange County with his wife Winifred Jean, (Dawn) and his three children John, Kelly, and Lori. John McCurdy was a loving and caring father who always put his family first. Not only survived by his three children, he has 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. This stalwart of a man will leave his legacy in the hearts and souls of his posterity. He will be deeply missed by his family yet welcomed home to his wife Winifred.
