Joyce attended UCLA and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from UCI many years later while working as a full time homemaker. While she did not serve in the military herself, her two husbands did.
Joyce was a full time homemaker who loved art, theater, the beach, and family. Equipped with talents in both mathematics and art, she enjoyed discussing technical matters of engineering and math while appreciating fine art in museums and theater.
Joyce is now at peace having joined her mother and father, her two husbands, her sister, and other relatives who now welcome her to eternal life. She is survived by her son Mark Lewis, daughter in law Melanie Lewis, grandson Brandon Lewis, granddaughter Alexandra Lewis, daughter Christine Lewis and brother Bill Krelle.
Funeral services to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held on Dec. 21 at 10:00 am at Pacific View cemetery.
