Judith Marilyn Gomer

Judith Marilyn Gomer passed away quietly on Saturday, August 6th, 2022, in Laguna Hills CA a few weeks after her 91st birthday. She was born in Poughkeepsie NY on July 14, 1931, and grew up in Brooklyn and Queens New York where she lived for over 40 years before relocating to Orange County California in the late 1970’s.

She has a younger sister, Sandy Fournier, and a niece Leesa Carsten. Judy was married to Robert Gomer for 26 years. They had two children, Andy who is married to Donna Briggs and Sue who is married to Steve Douthat. She has a beautiful granddaughter Ilani Douthat and an adorable grand dog Chloe. Her best friend was Helen Berkson whom she spent many hours with shopping, playing games and raising their families together.,

Judith held many different jobs over the years and always felt that education and learning was lifelong. She was very proud of her Nursing Degree, and she kept her license current throughout her life. Her house was the place that the neighborhood kids came to for bandages, and their parents for medical advice. She lived in Orange County with her partner, Charlie Ehrlich, for 25 happy years. She enjoyed playing Mahjong, bingo and she loved to sew.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 9th, 2022, at 3pm at Pacific View Memorial Park. Donations in lieu of flowers should be made in her name to the following charities:
