Kenny kept up his wit and good humor to the end. He appreciated many friends and family who visited him.

What a man, Kenny, a rare individual with a quick wit, unwavering integrity, and kind heart. Right to the end, Kenny's mind was sharp as a tack, and he continually astonished me with his recall of details both long past and recent.

As a Korean-born American, I especially admired and respected Kenny for his brave service in the US Army, without which I likely would not be living in the greatest country, the USA.

Kenny's courage and strength was evident during his final days on earth, as he declined further dialysis treatment. He had endured so many difficult hospitalizations in the past few years, eased only by the loving care of his daughter Kendra and kind visits of friends. 

Kenny was a beloved, long-time fixture in his community as he puffed cigars on his home porch and warmly greeted all his neighbors, when they stalled by, and watched them and then their children grow up. Though I'm not a smoker, I admit to joining Kenny a few times, with our friend Bill Burke, and knocking off cigar ashes into the ashtray! 

Kenny's neighbors and friends will greatly miss him.  Likewise, my thoughts are with his wife, Julia, and daughters, Kendra, Karyl & Kristen.

Rest in peace, dear Kenny, in the eternal presence of God.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Kenny personally, but I was able to watch his YouTube interview, and through Kendra found out what an incredible man he was.  Condolences for your loss. May His peace which passes all understanding comfort you during this time.
