Michael Alan Jacobs

Born in Hollywood, CA he grew up in Inglewood, CA where he attended Warren Lane Elementary and Crozier Jr. High. He graduated with the first 4-year graduating class at Morningside High School, where he excelled in track (sprinter) and music (clarinet and sax).

Mike studied business and after receiving a BA degree, created two highly successful insurance agencies: TMJ Corp. and Apollo Agencies.

A philanthropist, Mike generously supported many non-profit agencies. His true devotion was to Tustin Kiwanis, where he was a multi-time president, headed golf tournaments, and donated food to after school programs.

His sense of humor and passion for sports was well-known. He coached several seasons of baseball, and never missed a game in which his sons participated. He was also a long-time season ticket holder for the LA Angels.

Michael Jacobs is survived by his wife of 60-years, Linda; two sons Greg (Sarah) and Jeff Jacobs; grandsons Joe and Brody Jacobs; sister Kara Jacobs. He is predeceased by his sister Elaine Jacobs Green.

Always seen wearing Reyn Spooner shirts with shorts, Mike requested that mourners dress casually.
