Richard Samuel Klein

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Samuel Klein, who died peacefully on August 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 22, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri.

A devout follower of Jesus, Richard’s life was a testament to his faith. He lived by the words, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7. He was a cherished husband, a dedicated father, a loving brother, an adored grandfather (Papa), and a loyal friend. He dedicated his time and energy to helping and serving others. His kindness, generosity, and humor touched the lives of everyone he met.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lydia Klein (nee DeCourcy), and their three children: Chris Klein and his wife, Angela, Katie Wilcox (nee Klein) and her husband, Jonathan, and Jill Ronco(nee Klein) and her husband, David. Richard was the proud Papa to nine grandchildren: Carson, Cami, Brie, Lily, Brooks, Piper, Griffin, Tate, and Rowan. His legacy will live on through them, and their lives are a testament to the love and values he instilled in each of them.

The family has planned a private celebration of Richard's life in Corona Del Mar, CA. They are grateful for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
