I had talked to an old friend from Corona, that I hadn't seen in years, and I only found out this morning that Rick had passed away— now almost five years ago. It was hard even hearing some years back  that his mom, Jan, had passed as well.

I grew up on Rainbow Ridge in the house directly across from Jan and Rick. They were really great neighbors and Rick was always a lot of fun. I remember when he started with UPS way back when— and he loved that job. He was still living at home, looking after his mom and working a lot of hours.

One Saturday afternoon, in the late 80s, Jan came to our door, needing my and and my dad's help. Rick got a brand new waterbed and he realized it was more than he could handle on his own, getting it safely down that hall and into his room. So my dad and I helped him and he was really jazzed about that new bed.

He was a great guy and his mother was also the best. When my father was going through his divorce in 1990, Jan was always over at the house, talking to my dad, giving him wise counsel and always said— Rick and I are here for you all.

Godspeed, Rick. Give your mom my hello.

Dear Jacqui, Abby and Gracie. Seeing this site makes it true,Rick is gone. I am so sorry we did not know. Rick was so kind,he would always stop and talk. He would never have been so far behind on condolences. Our family wants express our sadness to learn of Rick's passing and to reach out and let you now we are thinking of you all and sending prayers in this very sad time.

Can't say enough about Rick - one of the nicest man I have ever known.  Always with a smile on his face and something nice to say.  You will be truly missed.

We lived across the street from the Williams family in Corona for many years and our kids were close friends with Rick and Diane, so we were shocked to hear of Rick's passing! We will remember him fondly and send our condolences to the family.

Rick should have been the Mayor of Anaheim Hills!  Rick always came to the office with a bounce in his step and a smile on his face!  He frequently spoke of his wonderful wife and girls.  You could tell how much he loved being a husband and Father.  May the family find comfort in his love for them and the positive spirit he brought to the world.  I'm sure that Rick is bringing the energy and love to heaven that he shared here on earth. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.  Rick was taken way too soon!

Our UPS man Rick, You made us feel like close friends, a wave on the street, sharing a joke, small talk about Tennis US Open, French Open and many more. He called us by nick names, it was always "Hello Doc" or "Hey Marce". Our hearts weigh heavy with his passing. You have reminded us how sweet life is you will be dearly missed. Rick you will be missed my friend!!! You came through our office door with a smile on your beautiful face every day, I will miss that smile.  I've know you for seven years, and the last year was crazy as I dealt with my own cancer.  But I would see you out and about and you always offered such words of encouragement through my journey. Oh my, so sad, another childhood friend here, lived up the street from him on Rainbow Ridge  in Corona, we played tackle football.in his yard together....and very much remember the insanely high basketball he had over his garage in.the driveway....have though about him many times, sure wish we would have connected again...so sorry Diane and the Williams family

Rick would always come into my office delivering our UPS packages with a huge smile. He poked at me all the time for being a Canucks fan. I remember when the Kings won the cup he joked by taunting me pretending to hold the mighty cup in honor of his beloved Kings.

I have wonderful memories of growing up across the street from Diane and Ricky. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Laurie Lawson (Pattillo).

I am shocked to hear of his passing - He was the sweetest man - Even though we had an amazing love hate relationship - me being a ducks fan - He always greeted our office with a smile .! I was Rick's childhood friend in Corona, he and Diane lived across the street from us. I have so many fond memories of growing up there. I had tried to reconnect with him over the years but could never track him down. My heart is heavy at hearing of his passing. My prayers and sadness mix with the great memories we shared. My condolences to his family.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Ricky's passing. Learning of his death brought back a rush of memories. His mom, Jan, babysat my sister and me when I was in fourth grade. I babysat Ricky and his sister, Diane, when I was a teenager. In between were many summers of hide & seek in my front yard; skates,skateboards & bicycles; family BBQs; riding in his dad's convertible Volkwagon beatle. Nearly forty years have passed but those memories have stuck with me like they were yesterday. My condolences to Ricky's family and his sister, Diane.

Our Condolences and Prayers to the Williams Family at this sad time. At Century 21 Award, Rick always came with a huge smile on his face, and left with a laugh or two. He will be deeply missed.

I remember Rick only as Ricky, a childhood friend,  a best pal, an excellent Atari player who always beat me, an impressive artist and fortunatly my next door neighbor until I was 16. I've searched Facebook many times hoping to find my old buddy so we could laugh again together as we did thousands of times before. My heart is broken for my loss and hurts all the more reading about how terrific a person he remained as an adult. I'll miss him but I'm also thankful to have grown up with him and Diane. His passing reminds me of when we played hide and seek with all the neighborhood kids and now, Ricky,  we are playing again, I look forward to finding your spirit again Ricky. My prayers and love go especially out to his sister Diane and his dad as well as his wife and kids. Your husband and dad was also a great kid.

The Williams family I was ricks pre loader at UPS I am deeply saddened by his quick passing and want you to know what a great person he was to me . He will truly be missed and not forgotten by me and all of his UPS FAMILY.

Ricky may you rest in peace my friend.you and your sister have been on my mind for many years. As we all played in the streets from a real young age.playing hide and seek. Doing kids stuff on Rainbow Ridge where we all grew up. You will be missed. Rest in peace. The Williams family lived behind me in Corona in the 70s.  They were the best neighbors for a long time.  To Diane and rest of the Williams family my sincere and deepest condolences.

Since my boys (12 and 14 now) could speak, they knew that presents and goodies came from the big brown truck, and that "Mr. Man" always brought them.  Rick's kindness never faltered, even when he was working at full speed.  I waved to him around town a hundred times, and he always smiled and waved back.  His memory is part of what makes our community. Deepest sympathy to his beloved family.

Rick you have left us to soon. but you will never be forgotten. You where the best UPS driver around.
