

Bob attended elementary school and high school in Grafton. Bob got a degree from the University of New South Wales (Sydney) in accounting, and also at UCLA completed the necessary coursework to be able to sit for the CPA exams in California.
Bob grew up as an avid and successful sportsman, and as a junior was a national-level recognized swimmer, and also played rugby for local teams, in which he captained the New South Wales junior rugby team. Bob met his first wife at one of these rugby matches. Bob kept this athletic spirit active during his whole lifetime, including still swim competing internationally in his 60’s and 70’s, and still working-out when in his 80’s.
Bob made his way to the United States in 1966, having to go through Tehran, Iran in order to be able to get a visa to the States. He became a US citizen in the mid-70’s
Bob had three children with Cynthia (McKenzie): Brett, Vanessa, and Melanie. At varying times the family lived in Sydney and Brisbane, Australia, and Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, California.
Bob was a CPA for over five decades, with the majority of that time running his own firm. In starting his career, Bob was in several recognizable corporate names (including Walter E Disney Enterprises). Bob was a member of many organizations, including the AICPA, California Society of CPAs, and the Australian American Chamber of Commerce. Bob invested his time in to other supportive endeavors, including being a Trustee at Harbor Day School.
As a grandparent, Bob attended all of the theatrical and sporting events of his two grandchildren, and took an avid role in their growth as goal-oriented individuals.
Bob was lucky enough to have been married to his wife Jan across three decades, and they loved each other dearly, and enjoyed spending all of their time together.
Bob is survived by his wife Jan, two of his children, two grandchildren, his younger brother Barry, and numerous nieces and nephews in Australia.
Bob’s legacy is his dedication to his work, the relationships that grew from this, and his never-ending generosity to his family.
