Tony Tony P. Geralde

He was born April 14, 1936 to Fabian and Matilde in Clarin, Misamis Occidental, Philippines. He married Ely Bacerdo in 1961. They immigrated to the United States in 1969 with five children and had a 6th child in New Jersey.

He is survived by his children: Cecilia, Patricia, Nicolo, Noel, Renato, and Toni; children-in-law: Richard, Frances, Teresa, and Patrick; grandchildren: Emily, Hayley, Sienna, Ian, Kieran, Nicole, Elyse, Abigail, Chloe, Peyton, and Quinn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ely Geralde.

He is the author of Happiness is Having 8 Babes that captures his infinite love and devotion to his grandchildren. He was in the process of writing a sequel about his 3 additional grandchildren. Besides his family, his passions included gardening, travel, chess, fishing, crosswords, and Scrabble.

The viewing will be at Pacific View Memorial Park on Friday, October 1. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 2 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Irvine with the burial at Pacific View Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made on behalf of Tony Geralde to the American Diabetes Association.
