Aida Medellin Flores passed away on August 27, 2017 at the age of 79. She was born on October 7, 1937 in Oilton, TX to the late Tomas Medellin and Elena Coronado. She grew up in Freer, TX and worked as a Nurse in Corpus Christi, TX for over 30 years until her retirement from Humana Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Arnold Flores. Aida is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Valdemar V. Flores Jr.; sons, Valdemar “Sonny” Flores, III (Norma) of N. Richland Hills, TX and Arturo Flores (Susan) of Petronila, TX; daughter, Nora Ann Arriola (Rene) of Corpus Christi, TX; siblings, Abelardo Medellin of San Diego, TX and Elida Pryor of Jacksonville, TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
