

Alexis attended Yeager Elementary, Kaffie Middle School and King/Ray High School. She was an honor student, active in sports, her favorites sports was kickball and volleyball. She loved her first car, her first job was Taco Bell and she also worked part time with Dr. J.R. Cone. Alexis enjoyed writing, drawing, laughing, smiling and texting on her phone.
She is preceded in death her great grandparents, Anne and Chester Holybee and John and Lela Caballero.
Alexis leaves behind her family and friends to cherish her memories, her parents, Orlando and Jennifer Martinez and Oscar Jr. and Cindy Gonzales; two sisters, Alyssa and Lorilei Martinez; two half -sisters, Gabriella and Neveah; three half -brothers, Orion, Oscar and Xavier; her maternal grandparents, Ron and Cleo Caballero; paternal grandmother, Zulema Martinez; her aunts and uncles, Stephanie & (Junior) Ramsey, Tiffany & (Jav) Godinez and E. J.& (Karina) Reyes. Also the loves of her life, Shy, Killian, Noah, Scarlett and Damien, her loving and wonderful boyfriend, Isaac Ybanez; and countless of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
There are not enough words to describe how Alexis was, is and forever will be. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. We would like to give a special thanks to The Coastal Bend Blood Center, Team Industrial Service, Taco Bell, Robert and Clarissa Janosek, W. B. Ray High School, ICU Unit at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Back in an HR Photography, Michelle’s Florist and all the numerous pour of donations, support and prayers.
In lieu of flowers a Trust Fund has been set up at Navy Army Federal Credit Union, account number 1785029 Savings.
