Alfred Garza Hernandez, 82, passed away on January 24, 2017 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on September 11, 1934 to the late Edwardo and Frances Garza Hernandez. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Jackson; children, Liz Chapa (Sylvia G. Chapa), Clara Muguerza (Adam) and Jessica Cruz (Hector); brother, Edwardo G. Hernandez (Pancha); sister, Elisa Campos. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and several family members from San Antonio. Family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd., from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Chapel Service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd at 2:00 pm with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
