Maria Amelia Sauceda, 85, was called Home on December 1, 2016. She was born on December 20, 1930. Amelia married Gilberto M. Sauceda on June 24, 1951. She was a wonderful wife and a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Amelia is preceded in death by her parents, Gerardo and Genoveva Leal; siblings, Ninfa Guerra, Cresanta Ybanez, Roel Leal, Horacio Leal, Rosa Leal, Alberto Leal and Olivia Longoria.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gilberto M. Sauceda; brother, Juan (Mary) Leal; sister, Minerva (Nayo) ¬¬¬¬Salinas; children, Alvaro (Nelda) Sauceda, Maricela (Candido) Ybarra, Carmen Ramirez and Heriberto (Yolanda) Sauceda. Amelia is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly on Thursday, December 6, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening. Chapel service will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
