Angelita A. Amador

Angelita A. Amador, 75, passed away on April 6, 2016. She was born on June 24, 1940 to Pedro and Paula in Mathis, Texas. She served the Lord for many years and had the assurance of meeting the Lord in heaven.

Angelitas priority was being devoted to her family. She was such a loving and giving person that she would give anything she had to anyone down to food and shelter, she had no distinctions even helped the homeless whenever she could. Angelita had a big heart, she was faithful and happy. She loved nature, especially her flowers and plants but most of all loved hearing the singing birds.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Santos Amador; her mother, Paula Saldana and father, Pedro Alvarado.

She is survived by her children: Irma (Silver) Maldonado, Sylvia (Jose) Gonzalez, Norma (Jose) Leyva, Yolanda (Tommy) Flores, Nelda (Danny) Orta, Carlos (Lissette) Amador and Angie Amador; her grandchildren, Melissa, Crystal, Silver, Xico, Gabriel, Jennifer, Hector, Tony, Angelica, Moses, Joe Ray, Joel, Erica, Starr, Jason, Daniel, Paul, Zackary, Ashley, Anthony, Alex and Michael. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her sisters: Lilly (Tomas) Maldonado, Yolanda (Manuel) Flores, Cookie (Alex) Ramirez and Petra (Enrique) Tobon; also 42 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
