Anna Belle Hensch

She graduated from b-Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, Texas, where she grew up. She attended College in San Marcos, Texas, at Southwest Teacher's College. After she received her Bachelor's degree, she began teaching in El Campo, Texas, where she taught for five years. Next she moved to Snyder to teach third grade, and while there she earned her Master's degree in Elementary Education. Then she taught in Corpus Christi from 1962 to 1996.

After that she volunteered to teach English at a Christian University in Vienna, Austria. She and her friend, Joyce Maxwell, taught an English class together, and each one taught conversational English students. They volunteered to do this in September and October for four years.

Anna Belle is survived by her brother, Bill and his wife, Carol; her niece, Retta Kasper and Retta's daughter, Kristen White and her husband, Brad White, and their son, Colton.

Graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., Rosenberg, TX 77471.
