Antonia Q. Quezada Bueno

Born in Cotulla, Texas to Francisco and Maria de Jesus Berrones-Quezada, she was a long time resident of Corpus Christi and Parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Corpus Christi) for over 50 years. She was an active member of La Sociedad de Guadalupanas, The Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima, The Apostolic Movement of Shoenstatt, The Catholic Daughters of America and The Eucharistic Ministry.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alberto Z. Bueno and daughter Mary Helen Bueno.

Antonia is survived by her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Corinne (Robert) Hinojosa from Victoria, Texas; Granddaughters Angelica (Jesse) Solano, Valerie (Mike) Syrakis both from Jacksonville, Florida, Leslie (Eric) Goodley from Victoria, Texas, Bobby (Vivian) Hinojosa and Melinda Hinojosa; great grandchildren (Angelica's)-Jonathon Ramos, Alex Ramirez, Daniel and Julian Herrera; (Valerie's) - Mikey and Tony; (Leslie's)-Evonna English; Jesse (Marina) Buenn: grandchildren Chelsea and Albert Jr., Abel (Grace) Bueno: grandchildren Abel Jr. (Lorrie), Gene (Stephanie), Paul (Phylicia) and Sarah. Great Grandchildren are (Abel Jr's)-Jordan, Elijiah, Noah, (Gene's)-Genesis, (Paul's)-Kara, Tony (Sharon) Bueno: grandchildren Melissa (Paul) Correa, Kristian and Jacquelyn, Daniel Q. Bueno, Carlos (Diana) Bueno: Grandson CJ

Sister: Felicita (Ursulo) Quezada-Mendoza and family, Brother: Ramon Quezada and family all from the San Joaquin Valley Area, California; Brothers: Joe Recio, Antonio Bernal, David Bernal (Nebraska) and John Bernal. Step-Mother Florinda Quezada and siblings: Francisco, Alejandro, Victor, Carmen, Eva, Rosalia and Lucy are all from Southern and Baja California areas.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Flowers by Michelle's Florist.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

The family would like to thank Dr. Sanjeev Bhatia, MD and his staff for the compassionate medical care they provided Mrs. Bueno during hospitium in Victoria, Texas. They would also like to thank the 3rd Floor Staff at Victoria's Citizens Medical Center for exhibiting and providing the utmost in compassion and hospice care.
