Arnold Atkinson

Arnold graduated from Los Fresnos High School in 1964. He was a hard worker and a dedicated man who took great pride working as a refrigeration technician. He was employed by Central Kitchen Equipment for eight years and Marshall Webb Co. for 30 years. Arnold also enjoyed spending time with his family particularly fishing, golfing, traveling and cooking.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Atkinson.

Arnold leaves behind his family to cherish his memories his wife of 32 years Maria Isabel “Liz” Atkinson, four children, Arnold “Buddy” (Veronica) Jr., Lisa Lynn Atkinson, Christopher Arnold Atkinson and Christabell Elizabeth Atkinson; four grandchildren, Justin Lee Serrato, Alexandra Nicole Atkinson, Chance Nikolas Serrato, and Arnold Joseph Atkinson; three siblings, Henry Atkinson , Adeline (Rudy) Gracia, and Dr. Edward (Alma) Atkinson.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 20, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.

Memorial Service will be held at First United Methodist Church Chapel on Water Street, Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
