Arthur Rene Castillo

Arthur Rene Castillo, 67, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went peacefully into God’s arms after a lengthy battle with cancer on July 14, 2017 with his beloved wife and family by his side. Arthur was born on April 19, 1950 to Luis and Doris Castillo. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

Arthur was a graduate of Carroll High School. He was a foreman for CPL and AEP for 39 years. He will be remembered for his love of carpentry and electronics. Arthur is preceded in death by his father, Luis Castillo; and brother, Luis Castillo Jr. Arthur leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 25 years, Janie Castillo (Pelaez); children, David Rene Castillo, Arthur Rene Castillo Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rene Castillo; step-children, Mr. and Mrs. Juan Pelaez and Mr. and Mrs. Andy Buentello; loving grand-daughters, Emma Nicole Buentello and Camilla Emery Pelaez; grandsons, Matthew Rene and Mikey Rene Castillo; mother, Doris Castillo; siblings, Rose Lowe, David Hector Castillo, Ronnie Castillo and Pam Castillo. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Castillo Family. Family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the Chapel.
