Aurora A. Gomez

Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo Acevedo and Petra Alaniz; a step-father, Aristobal Alaniz; former husband, Agapito Gomez; brother, Amado Acevedo; sisters, Adelfa Gonzalez and Alvesa Pena; and a grandson, Michael Alaniz.

Aurora is survived by her children, Adan (Melba) Alaniz, Letty (Jesse) Ruiz, Chris (David) Budd, Lorenzo (Diana) Gomez, Zinnia (Nacho) Ybarra, Belen Gomez and Marco Gomez; sister, Alicia Villarreal; brother, Blas Garcia along with 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Gentiva Hospice, Dr. Ajah Sehgal and staff, her provider and friend, Nancy Hoover. They would also like to thank family and friends for all their love, prayers and words of comfort during their mother’s battle with breast cancer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
