Aurora Rios

Aurora Saenz-Rios was born to Precilliano and Gregoria Saenz on February 7, 1925 in Mercedes, Texas. She later married Tomas Cruz Rios and fruited 10 children. She was preceded in death by her firstborn child, and later by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters and some of her grandchildren.

Aurora passed away to reunite with her loved ones on January 23, 2016 in San Jose, California. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her nine children, Rolando Rios, Rosa M. Rios – Flores, Graciela R. Rios – Curl, Ricardo Rios, Linda Rios – Muse, Robert Rios, Sylvia Rios – Toler, Ruben Rios and Rene Rios. She had 25 Grandchildren and loved by all. They are Paul, Emmett, David, Michael, Michelle, Robert and Ricardo Flores, Karen and Rolando Jr. Rios, Rosalind Lewis and Todd Robert Curl Jr., Erica, Richard Jr., Maricela and Jose Rios, William Thomas, Stacey, James Harlan II and Daniel Muse, Jenny and Cain Rios, Rita, Steven Jr., and Brandon Toler, and lastly, Gabriella Rios.

She also leaves 36 great grandchildren that added to her fruits in life. She also leaves her immediate nieces and nephew that were close in life, Gloria and Sonny Guerrero, Yolanda and Joe Rodriguez, Juan Artemio (deceased) & Yolanda Flores, Ruben and Mary Flores, Araceli and Raymond (deceased) Villarreal, and Javier and Yolanda Flores.

She will be greatly missed and loved, by all of us until we all reunite.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Sunday, February 7, 2016 with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 in the Chapel at Cage-Mills. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery, Kingsville, Texas.
