Barbara loved the arts and was an avid painter and poet. She loved to create art but also enjoyed being a part of the art community. She enjoyed the company of her friends at Brookdale Senior Living.
She was a member of First Christian Church and had a passion for her family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Ernestine Perkins and Everett Perkins as well as her younger sister, Sandy Smith.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Evans, grandchildren Jason Evans and Chad Evans, and great-grandchildren Mariah Cobert, Meagan Geddes, Alaina Evans, Jayden Evans, Elisha Evans, Kaya Evans, and Truman Evans.
