Beatriz J. Vigil

She was born on February 8, 1935 to Josefa Longoria in Elsa, Texas.

She was married to her husband, Francisco Vigil for 61 years. Beatriz was a loving housewife and devoted to her loving family. She loved spending time with all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beatriz had a love of music and dancing. She was a faithful Catholic.

Beatriz is preceded in death by Orlando Vigil, Sr. and Sandra Vigil Garza

She leaves her cherished memories to her children; Irene Vigil-Ortiz, Deborah Vigil-Waggy (Raymond) and Rolando Vigil, Sr. (Jeanette). Also surviving are her grandchildren, Alfred Garza (April), Orlando Vigil, Jr. (Marie), Lori De Los Santos (Juan), Priscilla Vigil, Christina Oritz (Sam Gonzalez), Logan Waggy, Roland Vigil, Jr., and Mia Vigil, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Public visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:-00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for their compassion to Nurses on Wheels and especially to Monica Mendez.
