Bette J. Schwartz, 69, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on December 30, 2021. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 16, 1952. Bette graduated from Carroll High School in Corpus Christi. She married Steven Mark Schwartz on March 17, 1972.
Bette worked in retail for Sears and Wal-Mart. She was also a housewife. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She loved sewing, arts and crafts and also volunteered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help as an usher and part of Catholic Daughters.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosemary Corkill and her brother, John Patrick Corkill.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Schwartz and her children, Rebecca Schwarz and Francis (Patricia) Schwartz; granddaughter, Lynn Galbreath. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanne (Woody) Bodine.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 5:00 PM with Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
