Betty was survived by Michelle Lee Williamson, daughter of Frisco, Texas. Maxine Rae Williamson, daughter of Corpus Christi, Texas. Her four grandchildren are Nathaniel Williamson, Ontaryo Nearor, Avery Jackson, and Jackson Nearor, and her beautiful great-grandchildren are Karter Nearor, Image Jackson, and Kyler Nearor. Her loving husbands, David Lee Tolbert, and Manuel De La Cruz preceded her in death.
Betty was a fierce woman. She mastered the art of survival and love until God had her put it down to rest. Mom was a person of integrity, honor, and dignity—a straight shooter. "You didn't have to like her, but you will respect her." And in return, so very many people loved her as is. Memory Gardens (funeral industry) was her career for approximately 20 years. Her passion for servantry in the funeral industry is what kept her going.
Just being able to help a family's loved one in a time of need fulfilled her tremendously. We will have an unfilled void continuing without our firecracker/jokester. Who and what Mom stood for always measured up in the end. Unequivocally, she was a strong, opinionated, rare breed of person to those who knew her. Betty is "the last of a dying breed" of captivating values. You meet very few people in life who can make such an impact on what you thought you knew in life. Even when she was wrong, she was right, and you dealt with it. Nothing was ever easy in life for her. Hard work, dedication, and love were vital to her success. In any case, nothing good ever came quickly to any of us. In the end, I know God took one look at her, opened his arms to embrace her, and said, well done!
Rest now, Mom, your job is done~

Eternal Comfort Prayer
“Lord Jesus, my Refuge, and my Redeemer, you humbled yourself by becoming human and submitting yourself to death on the cross so that all who believe in you shall not perish but have eternal life. I thank you that my mother, while no longer with us in this life, will live forever with you. You conquered the grave and opened the gates of heaven. I entrust my mother in your gracious care and look to you with faith and hope in everlasting life to comfort me in my grief and pain. In your mighty name, Amen.”
