Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos Rodriguez, age 57, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on January 7, 2026. Born in Brownsville, Texas, Carlos was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, love, and dedication to his family.

Carlos earned his GED and took great pride in providing for those he loved. He married the love of his life, Evangelina Rodriguez, on December 18, 2021, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Together they shared a life rooted in commitment, support, and family.

A proud and hardworking man, Carlos was known for his strong work ethic and his unwavering role as a provider for his family. He treasured spending quality time with his loved ones and was happiest when surrounded by them. Carlos was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, a passion he enjoyed following closely.

Carlos was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicolas and Francisca Rodriguez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evangelina Rodriguez; his mother, Celia Rodriguez; his children, Tamara C. Rodriguez, Darlene K. Rodriguez, and Angelo Rodriguez; his stepchildren, Driscilla Gonzales and Hilario Gonzales III; and his father, Gupe Rodriguez. He is also survived by his siblings, Edward Rodriguez; Rocky Morales (Michelle Morales); Roberto Morales Jr.; and Nora Rodriguez (Billy Rodriguez). Carlos leaves behind eight cherished grandsons and one beloved granddaughter, all of whom brought him immense joy.

Carlos Rodriguez will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his devotion to family, his hardworking spirit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
