Carlos M. Rodriguez

Mr. Rodriguez loved being with his grandchildren, listening to his music and sharing precious time with his family. He also served in the armed forces and was awarded the sharpshooter Badge (M-16) specialized in grenades.

He is survived by his children: Jose Carlos (Jennifer) Rodriguez and Candace Marie Chesnutt; his grandchildren: Alyssa Rodriguez, Adrianna Hernandez, Aidan James Rodriguez, Carly Rodriguez and Julius Troy Rodriguez. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories his brother’s and sister’s: Juanita Edmonds, Lydia (Roman) Perez, Jr., Jose Rodriguez, Jr., Rosalinda (David) Garcia, Sylvia (Kenneth) Szymczyk, Raul (Angie) Rodriguez, Connie Vanscoy, Jessie Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, and Minerva (Paul Blicher); numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and former wife Yolanda Lopez (mother of his children).

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Funeraria del Angel-549 Cheyenne with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church with services to conclude at church.
