Carolina Q. Saldivar went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 23, 2013 at 102 years old. She was the eldest of five daughters born to Manuel and Ramona L Quintanilla. She was born on December 22, 1910.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Guadalupe and Noe Saldivar; eight brothers, Natividad, Guadalupe, Francisco, Everardo, Gilberto, Jesus, Jose Maria and Juan Quintanilla and two sisters, Rosa Q. Contreras and Josefina Q. Martinez.
Carolina is survived by three sons, Manuel Saldivar (Belia) , Israel “Camote” Saldivar (Olga) , David Saldivar Quintanilla (Grace); one daughter, Frances Walker; two sisters, Virginia Q. Rodrigue and Evangelina Q. Gonzalez; one brother, Manuel Quintanilla and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends at Funeraria del Angel on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening. Services will conclude afterwards.
