After a long battle with cancer the gates of Heaven were opened for Charles E. Puckett on May 3, 2011. Charles was dedicated to the U.S. Navy and retired after twenty-one years. He then later worked at CCAD for fifteen years and L3 for another twelve years.
Charles was married to the love of his life, Betty Puckett for forty-three years. He is also survived by his seven children, twelve grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2011 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors, 4901 Everhart Road. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery.
