Connie Romel

Connie Romel passed away on July 19, 2019 at the age of 87. She was born in Hudson, New Hampshire on March 30, 1932. In addition to being a loving wife and remarkable mother of six boys, she was a real estate broker, co-owner for a real estate magazine, Avon saleswoman and shop owner. She was an active member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and Carpenter’s Auxiliaries for many years.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Frank Romel, Sr., son Frank Romel Jr., her parents Tom and Irene Landry, and brothers, Tommy, Neal and Denny. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Tracie), Kevin, Darin (Barbara), Keith, Gary; daughter, Roni Baysinger, and sister Ginny (John) Tomlinson. Her surviving grandchildren are Monica Romel Barker, Frank Romel III, Aaron Romel, Ryan Romel, Dylan Romel, Kim Cochran, Alex Romel, Stephanie Bendele, Mikki Medrano, Chris Romel, Alex Baysinger, and thirteen great grandchildren.

Connie was extremely wise, kind, generous and loving. She will be missed very much by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78415. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery.
