Cristian Gabriel Rodriguez

Our beloved son, Cristian Gabriel Rodriguez, entered Heaven on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the age of 14. Cristian was a freshman at Veterans Memorial High School and was active in basketball and track. He was an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs and also a WWE wrestling fan. His favorite wrestler is “Switchblade”. His absence is a tremendous loss to his family and everyone who knew him. He will be missed immeasurably. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gilbert G. Ramirez. Cristian is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Christine Martinez and Gabriel and Angela Rodriguez; sisters, Allison Rodriguez (Robert Gracia), Amanda and Miranda Villegas; brothers, Allen Michael (Jeannie) and Ashton Rodriguez and Leonel Martinez. Cristian is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Lydia Ramirez; paternal grandparents, Oscar and Irene Rodriguez and nephews, Trent and Derek Gracia. There are also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Visitation will resume at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at 6:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be held at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
