Dale Wayne Odom

With hearts shattered by grief, we mourn the sudden and unexpected passing of a truly extraordinary soul. His loss has left an emptiness that words can hardly express, not only for those closest to him, but for people all across the world whose lives were touched by his kindness, warmth, and unforgettable spirit.

Dale was the kind of person whose presence could instantly brighten a room. His charisma was effortless, his smile genuine, and his heart impossibly generous. If someone needed help, comfort, or simply a friend, he was always there. Dale believed deeply in showing up for others, and he lived by a simple but powerful truth — that kindness should never be held back. He would have given the shirt off his back without a second thought if it meant helping someone else.

What made him so special was not just his words, but the way he lived. He loved deeply, laughed loudly, and cared for people with a sincerity that is rare in this world. To know him was to feel valued. To be loved by him was one of life’s greatest gifts.

His sudden departure has left family, friends, and countless others in disbelief and heartbreak. Yet even in this overwhelming sorrow, we find comfort in the legacy he leaves behind — a legacy of compassion, generosity, loyalty, and love that will continue to live on in every life he touched.

Dale joins his daughter Savannah in Heaven; mother Pamela Sue Garrison, and father Rusty Odom.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Alexander Odom, Anastasia Odom, Nicolas Miller, Jordan Odom, and Jonah Odom. Aunt, Marlyn Mumme; siblings, Paul Shanks Jr., Penny (Abel) Soliz, Marlana (John) Muzny, Dana (Robert) Odom-Preston, Michael Odom, and Kanecia Odom. Nieces and nephew, Brittney Shanks, April Torres, Johnny Silva Jr., Cordero Silva, Derek Shanks, Lacé (Phillip) Weir, Annalisa Perez, Bailey Escalera, Lanster Muzny, Wyatt Muzny, Nia Johnson, Chanelle Lockhart, Jazmine Lockhart, Michael Odom Jr, Jason Odom, and Raven Chance, along with extended family and friends.
