Daniel William Geeding

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Capt. Robert W. Geeding; mother-in-law, Sally Gomez; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Geeding and Mr. and Mrs. Claud Hellwig from Indiana.

He leaves behind his wife of 14 years, Mrs. Grace A. Geeding, who will cherish his memory and the time they had together; his mother, Virginia L. Geeding; sisters, Pam Hartsuyker (Garrett) and Kris Geeding; his step-mother, Anne Geeding; nephew, Garrett and nieces, Rebecca and Candace all of San Diego, CA; his brother-in-law, Freddy and father-in-law, Jesse Gomez of Corpus Christi, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dan was an AVID SAN DIEGO CHARGER FAN, he enjoyed computer challenges and going fishing; he loved his dogs, Harley, Chloe, PigPen and his cat, Frosty. He was such a loving and gentle giant of a man, who always had a joke to tell or song to sing. He will be greatly missed by all who met him, his love for his wife and family will never be forgotten. He couldn’t be beaten by any one in any form of trivial questions!

The family wishes to thank the many friends and family members for their prayers and support during this time of sadness. He will be missed by all!

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

Services will conclude at this time.
