Diamantina Cedillo

Diamantina Cedillo, age 90, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025. She was born in Ben Bolt, Texas, and lived a long, vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and faith.

Diamantina dedicated much of her life to the service industry, where her hard work, warmth, and kindness touched countless people. She retired in 1994 after many years of commitment and care for others.

On September 1, 1956, she married the love of her life, Sijifredo Cedillo, and together they built nearly seven decades of memories filled with love, adventure, and family. Diamantina and Sijifredo shared a passion for fishing, camping, and traveling — especially to Las Vegas, where she enjoyed the thrill of the casinos and the sparkle of the city lights.

A woman of deep faith and strong will, Diamantina lived each day with independence, grace, and laughter. She loved reading, cooking, playing bingo, dancing, and watching her favorite westerns and novelas. Her family will always remember her joyful spirit, her love for life, and the strength of her faith in God.

Diamantina was preceded in passing by her parents, Jose and Teresita Ramon, and all of her siblings: Jose Ramon, Manuel Ramon, Cruz Ramon, San Juanita Zamora, and Frances Ramon.

She is survived by her loving husband, Sijifredo Cedillo, and their children: Fred Cedillo, Joe (Irene) Cedillo, Terry Morales, Martha Cedillo, Jesus Cedillo, and Elena (Mike) Phillips. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Diamantina will be remembered for her strength, faith, humor, and unconditional love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A visitation will be held on November 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home located at 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78415. Following the visitation, a Holy Rosary and Funeral Service will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the same location. Interment will occur from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A reception will be held from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the same venue.
