Diane Carol Rodriguez

Preceded in death by both parents Marvin and Carrolynn Perkins, Survived by sons Bryan and Brenton (Jirakarn) Rodriguez with former husband Ernest. Her grandchildren Daylen, Alexander, Ryker, Archer and Keaton. Her sister Nancy (Alfred) Quesada and brother Robert (Mary) Perkins.

Diane graduated from Mary Caroll High School with multiple speech and debate awards and accolades, Del Mar College and Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a focus in in Early Childhood Development. Diane taught in Houston and Lamar (Rosenberg) Independent School Districts.

Diane enjoyed family gatherings including beach cookouts, celebrating Fourth of July, birthdays, Christmas, and carrying on the Rowley tradition of homemade noodles. She enjoyed Texas football gatherings and took pleasure in sharing a good queso. She enjoyed baking cookies, cakes and brownies.

Diane was a shoulder to lean on, cry with or share difficult experiences with, she listened well. Diane was a strong Christian woman, always ready for an adventurous experience. Diane was a loving mother, friend and inspiration.

Memorial services will be held in her honor Saturday, November 29th at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary at Second Baptist Church 6701 S Staples, Corpus Christi, TX.
