Domingo J. Martinez

Domingo J. Martinez passed away on January 18, 2018 in Cibolo, Texas at the blessed age of 87. He was born September 28, 1930 to his parents, Anastacio & Martina F. Martinez. He was a truck driver with Southern Oil Sales for 30+ years. His biggest disappointment in life was that he was an only child. He felt that through reading the Bible, God graced him with the ability to learn how to read, how to print and sign his name. This was quite an accomplishment for someone who had to drop out of school from the third grade so he could support his mother. Domingo suffered numerous medical issues recently but now is free from all suffering. We pray for the “Repose of his Soul." May he rest in peace. He will be missed.

VITAS Hospice, San Antonio, TX.

He is preceded in death by his second wife, Olga C. Martinez; his daughter, Sylvia Yvonne Camacho and both his parents, Anastacio & Martina F. Martinez.

He is survived by his first wife, Irene G. Martinez, daughter, Alice M. Rios (Manuel); sons, Domingo Martinez, Eduardo Martinez, Javier Martinez (Alicia). Domingo is also blessed by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, January 26, 2018 at noon with Chapel services to begin at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
