Dora A. Ramirez

Dora Arredondo Ramirez, 77, our beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother was called home by our Heavenly Father to enter His Kingdom as an everlasting angel on December 10, 2015.

Dora was born on September 3, 1938 in Yorktown, Texas and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dora was well loved by her family and all who knew her. She enjoyed gardening, gambling and family gatherings.

Dora is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Tedosita Arredondo; her siblings, Lupe, Benito, Alfredo, Isaac, Pedro, Jr., Francisca (Panchita), Ninfa and Juanita.

She is survived by her daughters, Rosie, Mary Ann and Diane (Henry); her sister, Estella and her brother Erasmo. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her grandchildren: Eric (Candace), Brittany, Ryan (Geena), Nick (Nana), Alex, Desi and Larissa; also six great-grandchildren: Alayah, Emma, Noah, Rudy, Krystallynn and Nicko along with her faithful dog Maddie as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. A burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
