Douglas R Holder

Doug was a high school graduate from Tuloso High School and He went on to serve his country with the United States Air Force from 1968-1972.

Doug married the love of his life Wanda Roberts on February 8th, 2014, in Corpus Christi.

Doug had a career in air conditioning and refrigeration until he retired in 2001. Him and his brother Bob were able to take over the Holder family Refrigeration business in the early 80’s from their father and ran it till 2000’s

He was a proud member of the San Patricio County Livestock Show Board, and always had a passion for raising cattle and attending stock shows with his children. Later in life Doug loved to meet his brothers for breakfast and lunch.

Doug is reunited with his parents, James and Helen Holder; brother, Jim Holder; and his uncle, Gene Holder.

Doug leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife, Wanda Holder of 10 years; Children, Jason (Kim) Holder, Doug (Stephanie) Holder Jr., William (Kalli) Holder, Mark (Laura) Roberts, Patrick (Rebecca) Roberts; Grandchildren, Corin, Leah, Maddox, Trey, Dakota, Trista, Jesse, Maddie, Laynie, Hudson, Gage, Gunner, Haiden, Clara, Tory, Kate, William; siblings, Jim (Jan) Holder, Gene (Beatrice) Holder, Ed (Marie) Holder, Richard (Linda) Holder, and Bob Holder

A Visitation for Douglas will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A graveside service will occur Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, Texas.
