Eliud M. Garza

Eliud was a devoted husband, loving Dad, brother, grandfather and great-grand father. He was a Christian who believed in Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. His memory will be cherished forever. He was well known in Corpus Christi for his carpentry work. He will be dearly missed.

Eliud was preceded in death by his sister Cora Mendoza.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Graciela Garza; sons Daniel J. Garza, Jose E. (Gloria A.) Garza and David Garza; daughters Dolores (Henry) Mahan, Sylvia Garza, and Leticia (Roel) Velasquez; grandsons Jose Garza, Michael Garza, Jeremy Garza, Jacob Garza, Armando Deleon, Noe Deleon, Jonathan Morales, and Andrew Morales; granddaughters Pearl Garza, Jennifer Garza, Gracie Garza, Amanda Garza, Angela Garza, and Esther Garza, Tania Avila, Melissa Burnett, Crystal Morales, Natalie Velasquez, and Celeste Velasquez; sisters Dina Garza Garza, and Deborah Pedroza; 27 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

The family would like to thank family members and friends for their condolences.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne St., with a Prayer Service by Pastor Hector Gomez and Pastor Luis Cabrera at 7:00 pm that same evening.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel where services will conclude.
