Elizabeth Ann Garza

Elizabeth enjoyed many different things in life and throughout her life, she made many memories. Over the last six years, she was a member of St. Mary’s by the Sea Church and contributed not only plenty of prayers and worship, but also enjoyed herself while attending Bingo and Cake Walks.

During her time at the Moose Lodge, Betty was the Secretary, Vice President and also organized the events held while spending time with the members at the lodge.

Elizabeth was also an avid fisherwoman and absolutely loved spending time on the water and fishing with her husband at every chance she could get; it was her true passion and being able to do that with Juan for 35 years and it was so special to her. Whether she was on the water or playing her favorite game of bingo, there was one thing that she could not go without and that was listening to the oldies, but goodies music. It goes undoubted that Elizabeth will truly be missed, but the memories shared will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Juan Garza.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Margaret Mendoza Scott and her brother, Michael Mendoza.

Services will be held at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 S. Bowen Rd., Arlington TX 76016, in July. Times to be determined at a later date.
