

Elsa Olvera Stark, age 53, passed away peacefully in Corpus Christi, Texas, on June 27, 2013 after a short illness. She lived in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 8, 1960 to Jose Esteban and Margarita H. Olvera. She graduated from Roy Miller High School Class of 1978. She married on July 18, 1987 in Christi Christi, attended Del Mar Community College, and worked at Edmonds Dental Prosthetics. Her hobbies were crossword puzzles, embroidery and classic movies. Her favorite books were “Gone with the Wind” and “Pride and Prejudice.” She was a big fan of the THE DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!
She was predeceased by her father, Jose Esteban Olvera, (January 14, 2005) and brother, Vicente H. Olvera (March 27, 2013).
She is survived by her husband, Wesley Ken Stark; son, Michael Andrew Stark; mother, Margarita H. Olvera; brother, Jose H. (Rosie) Olvera; sister, Rosa Maria (Juan A.) Segovia; nephews, Jose and Marcos Olvera; Javier A. Segovia; and niece, Elizabeth Andrea Vela. She is also survived by her pets, Pepper, Frodo and Little.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street. A Chapel service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
