Eluid C. Garcia

Eluid Garcia was born in Chicago, IL on June 17, 1963. Eluid was called home by our Lord on May 24, 2022. Eluid was the most kind, loving and caring son, brother and brother- in- law. Most of all he had a Big Heart.

Eluid is preceded in Death by his parents Armando Garcia Sr and Santos Garcia and brother Armando Garcia, Jr, and brother- in- law Rene Perez.

Eluid leaves behind a Big Loving Family to cherish his memories, sister Beatrice (Benito) Moreno, Irma Garcia, Maria Elena Perez, Miroslava (Tony) Garza. He also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces who he took the time to see and spend Quality time with, whether it was BBQ, going fishing, playing basketball and golfing. He cherished his Best Friend Buddy (his Dog).

Eluid graduated from Carroll High School. He worked in numerous Retail Stores, Handy Andy, Builders Square and Staples where he became a Store Manager before leaving to Villahermosa, Mexico to work as a Consulting Manager with Taylor Servicios Tecnicos Engineering and working side by side with his brother Armando.

Eluid enjoyed going fishing on his boat and taking out family and friends to enjoy the scenery of the waters. He would say this was the most relaxing time for him and being able to catch a fish was just a plus. He had a passion for listening to music whether it was Tejano or Country. He just enjoyed music. He enjoyed his time traveling to numerous states like Illinois, Tennessee and different areas in Mexico. He had numerous friends in the Valley which he considered his Family. He also enjoyed spending time with them during Happy Hour talking to them about his Family and how he loved all of us unconditional.

Eluid will be so Dearly missed, especially the phone calls we had with him everyday worrying about everyone and everything except Himself. His Memories and Love for everyone will live on in our Hearts.

A visitation for ELUID will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will occur Friday, June 3, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A burial will occur Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:15 AM.
