Emma Louisa Banspach

She was preceded in death by her brother: Marcos, Tomas, Roman, and Guillermo Silva; her sisters: Anita D. Silva and Modesta Garcia; and her son-in-law Jesus Guzman.

Emma was a very loving, spiritual, and devout Christian woman who found the most joy when spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters: Eunice Banspach, Colby (David) Bowden, Rachel Guzman, and Esther (Jason) Thompson; her son: Jacob Banspach; her grandchildren: Michele (Jesse) Rodriguez, Marcia (Ismael) Gomez, Esther Emma Banspach, Jason (Janina) Tirado, Rina (Jose) Flores, Jesus (Aracely) Guzman Jr.; David Charles Bowden, Christine( Nathan) Casebeer, Samantha (Mark) Quintero, and Viktoria Thompson; eight great grandchildren; and various nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 6:00 p.m. that same evening. Visitation will continue at La Trinidad Christian Church, 2634 Tarlton, on Friday, June 3, 2011 with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas
