She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Conrado Bernal.
Emma was known for her tamales and for helping others learn the skill of tamale making. She will be missed for giving heart to others. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her nieces, Margarita Rios and Maria Elena Beaudino; nephews, Miguel B. Rios, Jesus Villa and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
