Erineo R. Peralez

Erineo R. Peralez passed away in Corpus Christi, TX on October 23, 2014 at the age of 88. He was born in San Antonio, TX to Jose and Guadalulpe R. Peralez. He was retired from CPC International where he served 32 years and was Union Steward for the Chemical and Atomic Workers Union. He previously served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion. Erineo loved to play bingo and happily watched his grandchildren partake in their sports activities, especially Little League.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Guadalupe Peralez; sisters, Adela, Estella, Josefina and Isidra; brothers, Porfirio, Jessie and Pedro.

Erineo is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Isabel Peralez; sons, Jose A (Maria) Gutierrez, Alonzo (Hazel) Gutierrez and daughters, Rebecca Peralez (Mike Esparza) and Norma (Tony) Killion. He is also survived by grandchildren, Mark, Brad, Vanessa, Sam, Bobby, Danielle, Joseph and Stephen and 9 great-grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
