

Born and raised in Robstown, Texas, Estefana's life was a testament to love, resilience, and generosity. She was a devoted wife to Reynaldo Esparza for 56 years. Together, they built a life rich in love and family.
Estefana was known for her compassionate spirit as a dedicated nurse's aide and her courageous battle as a cancer survivor. Her vibrant personality and zest for life made her the life of every party. Her home was always open, welcoming friends and family alike with warmth and kindness.
Estefana is reunited with her parents, Panfilo and Manuela Cuellar; brother, Robert Cuellar (the late Margie Cuellar); and sister, Rosa Rosales (the late Julian Rosales Sr.). She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Reynaldo Esparza; four children, Richard Gonzales (Maggie Gonzales), Yolanda Tanguma (Cecilio Cervantes), Cynthia Esparza-Vela (Richard Vela), and Imelda Moreno (the late Mauricio G. Moreno); ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Teresa Silva (the late Joe Silva); all of whom she loved dearly. Her legacy of love and joy will live on through the many lives she touched.
Estefana Esparza's memory will forever be cherished by those who had the honor of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for the incredible woman she was and the profound impact she made on her family and community.
Visitation will be held at 1 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM. A Funeral Celebration will follow at 2 PM, with Reception Gathering to begin at 3 PM where friends and family are invited to honor and celebrate Estefana’s wonderful life. The family will be honoring Estefana’s wishes of cremation and will hold an Inurnment at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in the near future.
