She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will always be remembered for her pan de polvo and her tamales. She was affectionately known as “Mom” for her loving spirit.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Jose P. Garcia and her parents; sister, Concepcion Cuellar and brother, Alfredo Ruiz.
Eva leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Gloria M. Santos, Jose (Amelia) Antonio Garcia; her extended children, Anna Maria Bellomy (Walter), Juan L. Moreno, Jose Luis Garcia; her sister, Maria Ana (Frank) Sanchez; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:00 am. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
