Fernando C. Perez, age 72, was called home on Friday, October 23, 2020. Fernando was born in Hidalgo, Texas on July 15, 1948 to Ignacio T. Perez and Trinidad C. Perez He was a graduate of Flour Bluff High School where he lived and raised his family.
He was an Iron Worker at the local union #66 until his retirement, then he moved to Bishop, Texas. Fernando was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, and uncle who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He will always be remembered for coaching and refereeing soccer, volleyball, volunteering in his community, gardening, and barbecuing.
He is preceded in death by his father Ignacio T. Perez, and mother Trinidad C. Perez.
Fernando is survived by his sister Irma; his sons Fernando E. (Lori) Perez, Michael Perez, Rick Perez, and Danny Perez; His nephew Zachary; grandchildren Tayelor, Kenny, Alysa, Anthony, Tristan, Landon, Maribel, Corinne, Daniel, and Ricky.
